Preparation

Prepare coffee Luwak perfectly.

Coffee Luwak traditional style

To enjoy the special aroma of coffee Luwak, lovers should prepare the coffee in the traditional Indonesian way. For this, 2 coffee spoons with heaped and ground coffee are brewed in a cup of not boiling water. Once the coffee is brewed, stir once to break the coffee layer. Then wait a moment for the coffee grounds to settle. To experience the traditional coffee Luwak taste in its perfection, we recommend not to use sweeteners and milk.

Pour over

To enjoy the coffee Luwak with the Pour Over method, you should pour it by hand. With this filter method, you can achieve a full-bodied and delicious taste.
For this you need to boil water and let it cool a bit. In a moistened filter paper, 2 coffee spoons with heaped and ground coffee are placed and infused with the slightly cooled water. The water should be poured 1cm above the coffee powder. Circular movements, from the inside to the outside, ensure that the coffee powder is completely moistened.

French Press

The French press method takes a few minutes to prepare. We recommend rinsing the press pot with hot water, thereby warming up the coffee, so that the coffee can be drunk warm for longer. For one cup you need 2 coffee spoons with heaped and ground coffee. This is placed in the French press and infused with boiled water. The coffee should then be allowed to soak for a few minutes. The plunger is then pressed down to the bottom of the French press.

Storage

Keep your coffee in its original packaging for as long as possible. Do not leave your coffee in the open or the flavors will quickly dissipate.

Opaque and airtight containers are great for transferring coffee when needed. We recommend coffee containers made of ceramic, porcelain or metal. These materials are very hygienic and have no inherent odor.

Coffee should not be stored in the refrigerator. It is best to store your coffee at room temperature in a dry and dark place.

If stored well, coffee can be kept for up to two years. It is best to enjoy your coffee promptly after opening.
